Review of our SCC/OCM 2023 in Karlsruhe

Updated: Apr 3, 2023

Dear SpectroNet members, or should I rather speak in the words of Prof. Dr. Längle, dear SpectroNet family, our first Collaboration Conference in 2023 is over and we look back on an eventful day. On March 21, 2023, we were allowed to use the premises of Fraunhofer IOSB in Karlsruhe to talk to our partner companies about their product innovations in the hardware and software area one day before the OCM.

Besides the 23 presentations in our 3 sessions

Session 1: Sensors & Systems for Optical Characterization of Materials

Session 2: Components & Methods for Optical Characterization of Materials

Session 3: Applications & Challenges for Optical Characterization of Materials

it was above all the exhibitions that awakened your interest. During the breaks of the event and at the evening event, the exhibitor tables were busy and there was hustle and bustle everywhere. The smooth flow with the 12-minute presentations and the planning of the day showed us that our cluster partners have an increased interest in presenting their current products and research results to each other, but also to see what their competitors are doing on the market. As always, we recorded the videos for you and the photos are also available for you.

We are already looking forward to inform you that the next SpectroNet Collaboration Conference will take place on Sepetember 05/06, 2023. An exact venue will be communicated to you. We can only reveal this much: We also want to break new ground and provide our members with new exciting locations for their presentations. Stay tuned and we look forward to seeing you again soon - your SpectroNet.
