Vertical Farming & Get-Together on June 28, 2022 from 4 p.m.
On June 28, 2022, a tour to the Yasai Pilot Farm in Zurich at 4:00 pm is the start of the event. The start up will give an insight into the future of vertical farming. Afterwards, the invitation is extended to a joint dinner in Zurich at the LaSalle restaurant.
Knowledge Transfer Seminar on 29 June 2022 from 9:00 to 16:00
The use of innovative technologies such as light-based solutions - photonics - is gaining enormous importance as an influencing factor in agriculture. In the knowledge transfer seminar on photonic technologies in agriculture, an insight into the opportunities as well as challenges in this application area will be given from the perspective of science and practice. How can photonics companies and system integrators participate in and drive the smart agriculture of tomorrow? These questions will be highlighted in particular on the three main topics of resource conservation, optical sensors in animal husbandry and crop production, and urban/vertical farming. The Knowledge Space Seminar will take place at the Hotel 25hours Zurich West.

The participation fee for members of Swissmem or SPECTARIS is 210.00 EUR (plus VAT) and for non-members 320.00 EUR (plus VAT).
The participation fee includes the tour of the Yasai Pilot Farm, the transfer and the get-together at the LaSalle restaurant on June 28 as well as the knowledge transfer seminar on June 29, 2022. The event will take place exclusively as a face-to-face event.
