At SpectroNet, we are excited to highlight the upcoming Quant-Bridge Workshop, hosted by our valued cluster partner Fraunhofer IOF, taking place from August 21–22, 2025, in Jena, Germany. This unique event opens the door to the fascinating world of quantum communication, offering a hands-on experience with technologies that are rapidly moving from research labs to real-world applications.
Organized within the framework of SQuaD—Germany’s national umbrella project for quantum communication, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)—the workshop aims to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and industrial implementation. The goal is clear: to foster early adoption of quantum technologies by transferring expertise, breaking down barriers, and connecting stakeholders from academia, industry, and the public sector.
What You Can Expect
The two-day workshop will feature interactive sessions, expert talks, and practical insights, all designed to educate and engage participants with varying levels of knowledge. The event is especially suited for professionals, innovators, and researchers eager to learn about quantum communication and its transformative potential across industries.
Held in English and free of charge, the workshop is structured to stimulate curiosity and encourage open discussion.
